Having a certain amount of athletic ability to be able to run, change direction and maintain balance, leaning specific skills to play the game. Combining and communicating with the team and working on the field such as Dribbling (keeping possession of the ball while moving)
Drills included such as passing (improving footwork and passing), cone drills (child with the ball is required to keep the ball in-front of them zigzag around cones in a pattern controlling the ball at the same time) ‘tag’ (children chase each other tagging each other to improve footwork and agility for a chosen amount of time).Shooting (children try their best to shoot with a coach trying to block it aimlessly and children will take the chance to shoot and try to score)
Drills included such as Juggling (taking control and coordinating to improve their reaction) and many other skills. Practice matches (regular matches 5 players between 5 where one ball has to be scored in either goal to receive a point to the other team), suicide runs (children will have to run back and forth front and back practicing their runs and balance in order to get the a point in the field).
